An ultrasound scan, also known as sonography, is a safe and non-invasive diagnostic procedure that uses  sound waves to produce real-time images of the inside of the body. Unlike X-rays or CT scans, ultrasound does not use any radiation, making it especially suitable for monitoring pregnancies and for routine diagnostic imaging. During the procedure, a special gel is applied to the skin, and a device called a transducer is gently moved over the area of interest. The sound waves travel into the body and bounce back to create clear images of organs, tissues, and blood flow and fetus inside pregant mother.
